HB 521: CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS AND CRIME INFORMATION – Amends and adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding submission by a covered entity for fingerprint screening.

Amends Section 67-3008, Idaho Code, to revise criminal history record release provisions and technical corrections. Adds new Section 67-3008A to establish fingerprint screening procedures for covered entities serving vulnerable populations (children, elderly, disabled). Declares emergency effective July 1, 2026.
