HB 536: AGRICULTURAL PESTS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding agricultural pests.
Amends Idaho Code §25-2601 to expand and reorganize county commissioners' authority to declare and control agricultural pests, explicitly including rats (Norway rat, roof rat), rabbits, hares, and other mammals/insects damaging crops, livestock, or land. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2026.
