HB 576: MOTOR VEHICLES – Amends existing law to establish an Idaho residency requirement to receive funds from ICAR.
Amends Section 49-1608E, Idaho Code, to restrict Idaho Consumer Asset Recovery Fund (ICAR) claims to Idaho residents or those who were residents at the time of motor vehicle purchase due to dealer fraud or violations. Establishes filing timelines and eligibility rules. Effective July 1, 2026.
