HB 659: MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding law enforcement entering into a memorandum of agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Requires Idaho law enforcement agencies to apply for 287(g) agreements with ICE for immigration enforcement cooperation, defines terms, mandates participation or public disclosure of inability, effective July 1, 2026.
