HB 678: TRAPPING – Adds to existing law to provide for the checking of wolf traps.
Adds new Idaho Code Section 36-1106 requiring wolf trappers to check traps every 72 hours, either in person or via remote camera with unobstructed view. Authorizes commission rulemaking. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2026.
