HB 745: COLLECTIVE BARGAINING – Amends and adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding the prohibition of taxpayer funding of government unions.
Prohibits public employers from using taxpayer funds to promote government unions by banning dues deductions, paid leave for union activities, and other support. Adds new Chapter 28 to Title 44 and amends school code sections 33-513, 33-1271, and 33-1275. Effective July 1, 2026.
