HB 776: CHILD PROTECTION – Adds to existing law to provide for safety checks for children under one year of age.
Requires expedited child protection safety reviews within 12 hours for infants under 1 year when parents/guardians have specified risk factors including prior abuse, child injury convictions, terminated parental rights, or neonatal abstinence syndrome.
