HB 781: AGRICULTURAL PESTS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding agricultural pests.
Amends Idaho Code §25-2601 to expand and reorganize county commissioners' authority to declare and control agricultural pests, explicitly including rats and structuring pests into four categories: predatory animals, rodents, insects/invertebrates, and plant disease agents. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2026.
