HB 785: EDUCATION – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding inappropriate online behavior by students and to prescribe a process for student discipline by the school district or public charter school.
Adds new Idaho Code section 33-512E to address inappropriate online behavior by students toward public school employees or others, establishing reporting, investigation, and disciplinary processes including suspension or expulsion. Effective July 1, 2026.
