HB 791: TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS – Amends and adds to existing law to provide for suspension of driver’s licenses when a person is 30 days or more delinquent in paying the penalty for a moving traffic infraction.
Amends existing law to authorize suspension of driver's licenses for persons 30+ days delinquent on moving traffic infraction penalties. Adds new section 49-1505 establishing suspension procedures, reinstatement requirements, appeals process, and exceptions for payment plans, employment travel, and medical emergencies. Effective upon passage due to emergency clause.
