HB 804: HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES – Amends existing law to provide that a single county-wide highway district’s service area shall expand to include annexed territory.
Amends Section 40-1406, Idaho Code, to establish that when a city within a single county-wide highway district annexes territory in an adjoining county, the district's service area expands to include the annexed area. Declares an emergency with effective date of July 1, 2026.
