HB 818: FERTILITY PRESERVATION – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding fertility preservation services.
Requires health benefit plans to cover fertility preservation services (sperm, oocyte, ovarian tissue collection) for patients undergoing medically necessary cancer treatments that may impair fertility. Excludes storage costs. Effective July 1, 2026.
