HB 864: UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES – Amends existing law to provide that certain substances involving mitragynine shall be Schedule I controlled substances.
Amends Section 37-2705, Idaho Code, to classify mitragynine, mitragynine pseudoindoxyl, 7-hydroxy mitragynine, and dihydro-7-hydroxy mitragynine (kratom alkaloids) as Schedule I controlled substances. Declares an emergency with effective date of July 1, 2026.
