SB 1222: DOMESTIC WELLS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding the domestic use of water.
Revises definitions of domestic water uses and clarifies permit requirements for new subdivisions in critical groundwater areas filed after July 1, 2025. Exempts in-home uses and livestock watering. Amends water delivery and system review provisions for subdivisions.
