SB 1231: LIQUOR – Amends and adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding licenses issued to established caterers.
Creates new liquor license category for established caterers (businesses catering 50+ events/year). Allows liquor service at catered events with restrictions on location, timing, and prohibiting bar/lounge operations. Sets $400 annual fee. Licenses non-transferable and exempt from population limits. Effective July 1, 2026.
