SB 1252: STATE BUDGETS – Adds to existing law to provide for limitations on increases in the annual maintenance budgets of state entities.
Adds new Idaho Code § 67-3537, the 'Restraint of Government Uncontrolled Expansion (ROGUE) Act,' limiting annual maintenance budget increases for state entities to the west region CPI increase, with exceptions for exigent situations, federal mandates, or operational needs. Effective July 1, 2026.
