SB 1258: LIQUOR – Amends existing law to authorize liquor licensure for a distillery in certain instances.
Authorizes liquor by the drink licenses for bona fide distilleries located on 5+ acres of agricultural zoned property in unincorporated areas. Provides exemptions for distillery officers/employees from licensure disqualifications and allows underage persons on distillery premises. Effective July 1, 2026.
