SB 1283: AGRICULTURAL PROJECTS – Amends and adds to existing law to provide for the Idaho Direct to Consumer Commerce Act.
Creates the Idaho Direct-to-Consumer Commerce Act to facilitate homemade food and nonalcoholic drink sales from producers to consumers with minimal regulation. Amends existing laws on grading, packaging, inspections, and exemptions for direct sales while maintaining food safety disclosures.
