SB 1315: HOSPITALS – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding maternity price transparency and disclosure.
Requires Idaho hospitals providing labor and delivery services to display comprehensive, consumer-friendly pricing for uncomplicated vaginal and cesarean births on their price estimator portals, including standard services, common add-ons, and disclaimers. Prohibits contracts preventing discounted cash prices for these services. Effective July 1, 2026.
