SB 1337: IRRIGATION DISTRICTS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding irrigation district directors.
Amends Section 43-201, Idaho Code, to revise irrigation district director qualifications, allowing landowners in small districts (≤15,000 acres) to serve from divisions where they own land if residing in the district county or adjoining county, subject to 2/3 board approval. Adds nomination oath and verification requirements. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2026.
