SB 1357: EDUCATION – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding certain limitations on scholarships.
Adds new Section 33-3717D to Idaho Code establishing scholarship limitations for student athletes at public institutions: preference for Idaho residents, caps scholarships to non-US residents at 10% of roster positions and 50% of team members, requires State Board of Education rules and annual reporting. Effective July 1, 2026.
