SB 1379: PROJECT CHOICE PROGRAM FEE – Amends existing law to revise a provision regarding the Project Choice program fee.
Amends Idaho Code 49-454 to increase the Project Choice program fee from $3.00 to $8.00 on certain vehicle registrations. Fees fund Idaho State Police career ladder and salaries for commissioned officers, dispatch, and forensic personnel via the Idaho law enforcement fund. Includes severability and emergency effective date of July 1, 2026.
